Similar to what the Federal Reserve does with its "Beige Books", the Stock Market Economist "Tan Books" will catalog comments from publicly traded company management teams about general economic activity, and wage and price inflation.  The comments will be unedited so that readers can see exactly what these companies are saying.  The "Tan Books" will serve as supplements to the "hard" data coming from public company filings, press releases and company presentations discussed elsewhere on this site.  The Fed releases their Beige Books eight times a year, but I will attempt to put these out more frequently, particularly during earnings season when there is a lot more commentary to cite.
